PLAY. I love words that can be both nouns and verbs. Going to the theater and seeing a PLAY is one of my favorite ways to spend my time! I also like to PLAY with my friends…but adults don’t call that PLAY. Why not? When do we get too old to play? Hmmm…I guess middle school is around the time that you stop having “PLAY dates” and you start “hanging out” with your friends. I’m thinking…and thinking…I guess that stays the same. When I call a friend, I never say, “Do you want to come over and play?” or “Do you want to go out and play?” That makes me sad. 

I am going to start doing that! We all need PLAY time in our lives. Work keeps me busy. I have many responsibilities outside of work. They all make me happy, but PLAYing is silly and carefree! PLAYing is giggling and not caring what anyone thinks.
