The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I–
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

What is your “road not taken”?
That is a great poem! I love it. here’s mine:
I went to go walk down the beach
but witch side should i walk?
not another person or step lay on the left side full with sea shells
and not a step or people on the right
I took the one to the left
it was great to be the only person walking on the beach and the first
it was peaceful
I collected a lot of great sea shells
that was the only difference to the right side vs. the left.
Was this the right way to right the poem??????!!!!
I know there are many
Choices to make
But my road not taken
is left yet to take
I can think very hard
But the right choice to choose
Is often never
In front of you
I have time to relax
Lean back and enjoy
Before the time comes
When I have no excuse anymore
I cannot run away
From the horrible truth
And for this to be easy
It couldn’t be true
My dreams and my education
Which one comes first
Education of course but what if worst comes to worst
Well, now I have time
Which not many people have
So before the time comes, I’ll just be glad.
